Women-Only Bar Advertising Campaign
In Spring 2019, I did a project in my “Creative Concepts and Storytelling” class that involved creating an ad campaign, using three different channels. The task was to develop an idea for a women’s-only bar, with a name, tagline, and logo. We were also required to create a concept board to help communicate the vision for the bar’s theme.
I created a women-only bar and club called .Period. This bar has a gothic flair that invites all femme-identifying women who are looking for a fun, memorable night out. With experiential cocktails, tarot readings, and an Instagrammable hall of mirrors, .Period is mysterious hideaway where women can feel safe and empowered. A portion of the proceeds goes to providing menstrual products to women in need and supporting women’s health organizations.

The goal of the ad campaign was to attract femme-identifying women who are looking for a cool late-night spot. I also wanted to establish a fun, playful tone that contrasts the gothic aesthetic. For a look at the full presentation, click the link here.
